Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. the competition

Well, it’s official. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been released and all the rumors that we’ve been reporting on over the last little while can be laid to rest. But how will Samsung’s newest device stack up against the competition? Check out our side-by-side comparison of all the latest and greatest smartphone models that will be hitting the shelves shorts. We’ve compared the Samsung Galaxy S5 to some up and coming devices that are set to be released in 2014: The Sony Xperia Z2, the LG G Pro 2, Nexus 5, and the HTC One. Once the “all new HTC One” drops sometime in the coming months, we’ll most likely update this to include it as well.

There you have it! The battle of the beasts. Right now, the Samsung Galayx S5 is looking pretty good against the competituion, however, the Sony Xperia Z2 is pretty close to it in terms of hardware. It may have to come down to the extra features, such as the fingerprint scanner and other things, that'll set apart this next line of flagship phones.
