Samsung has officially announced which of its devices will be receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat in the United States. Among the candidates are the Galaxy S4, both S3 versions, the Note 2, and some of their other tablets.

The list of candidates receiving the KitKat update is relatively long and should come as some good news for users who own older Samsung devices. No longer will you need to wonder whether or not you will be among those getting the latest Android update. Of course, right now the list officially only applies to the United States market, but since all of these models are available elsewhere, it should be very likely that you’ll see the update rolling out to you if you own one of the following devices but live elsewhere.

Android 4.4.2 will be coming to the following Samsung devices:
