If you were holding on for a little variety in the color department before you picked up the Nexus 5, you’re in luck. As of today, the Nexus 5 is now available in red via the Google Play Store.

As per our previous report on the leaked Sprint documents highlight February 4th as the official date, we can now see that they were bang on. Google has rolled out the new color for the Nexus 5, albeit a bit quietly, in the Google Play Store. As of today, you can choose the Nexus 5 in three colors: black, white, and red.

All pricing remains the same ($399 for 32 GB version or $349 for the 16 GB version), so there’s nothing to lose here. Now that the Nexus 5 is available in red, are you more inclined to pick it up?
