Wow, what a week: Flappy Bird was pulled from the Play Store, we shared the APK so you could still get it and then discovered a trick where you can still install the massively popular game from the Play Store. Android KitKat started rolling out on US carrier-branded Galaxy S4's and there were more HTC One 2 leak pictures than you could shake a blurry camera at. Oh, and a little smartphone called the Galaxy S5 made the news repeatedly. But what did you want to read about the most this week?

No surprises here, the little bird that could, did and then didn't any more was pretty much all anyone in Androidland could talk about this week. After a crazy surge in popularity, the developer of the hit game, Dong Nguyen, decided to pull the game because it was too addictive. We were too addicted though, so we shared the APK so you could still get the infuriatingly difficult on your device if you missed it the first time around.

Like I said, the game is infuriatingly difficult, so once you've got the game what do you need? A hug? A cup of tea? Back to the real world, Verizon dropped the Android 4.4.2 update on the HTC One in the US and it also started rolling out ahead of schedule in large parts of Asia too. Guilty as charged: I'm lazy. So if I can voice control my way out of actually having to use my hands for anything, I'm all over it. The Galaxy S3and S4 both have some nifty voice commands options on the lockscreen for a variety of lazy controls. I mean, efficient controls. Ruined my life worse than Dong Nguyen's. I hate it. But I can't stop playing it. Glad to see it go, it was awful. Never understood the hype or even played it.
