OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update for their handset — the One – that bumps the Android version to 4.4.4 and also brings some much needed bug-fixes and enhancements. 

Additionally, the update also brings a new ‘Clear Image’ functionality to the camera app. Under this mode, the camera takes a total of 10 images in quick succession and stitches them together for a final image, which has better clarity and details along with lower noise levels. The CyanogenMod team has also taken proper steps to ensure that the file size of the final image does not increase drastically under this mode.

The update also tweaks the color calibration of the display to a slightly colder temperature, which should solve the yellowish display issue that most users have been reporting.

The OTA update is being rolled out slowly so it might not show up instantly on your One. OnePlus states that “full deployment” of the OTA is expected to happen by the end of the week, which is when ideally most users should expect the update to land on their flagship killer.
