Sony Xperia Z3

Less than a month after unveiling the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact at IFA in Berlin, Sony released its latest flagship Xperia(s) in India.

Generally, Sony has taken its own sweet time in releasing its devices but this time it seems to be rapidly releasing its latest flagship in major markets of the world.

The Sony Xperia Z3 will retail for a whopping Rs. 51,990 in India while its smaller sibling, the Xperia Z3 Compact, will set users back by Rs. 44,990. Keep in mind that these are the official MRP of the handsets and their street prices will be slightly lower than this.

The Xperia Z3 is Sony’s second half flagship and sports some impressive specs, even though it only offers some modest improvements over its predecessor — the Xperia Z2. The full specs of the handset are below:

Even though the Xperia Z3 Compact is a smaller variant of the Z3, it sports the exact same specs as its bigger brother except for the 4.6-inch 720p display and a 2600mAh battery. Both handsets offer stellar battery life and are easily the longest lasting smartphones in their respective categories.

While the Xperia Z3 will be available in Black, White, Green and Copper, the Z3 Compact will be available in White, Black, Orange and Green colors. It is not yet known if Sony will be bundling a smartband and cover with the Z3’s retail package like it did with the Xperia Z2.
