The Moto X has been available for AT&T for a little while now, but for owners of the device waiting to get updated to the newest version of Google’s mobile operating system has been a bit longer than other devices. The wait is finally over, according to Motorola.

The update is being sent out over the air, as usual, which means that it will be rolling out in waves, and will find its way to every Moto X out there in the wild and under AT&T’s umbrella in due time. With the update, which brings Android 4.4.4 to the handset, you’ll get the standard security improvements, bug fixes, performance tweaks, and overall stability improvements.

As for the new features directly intended for owners, you’ll get a new dialer, and you’ll now be able to pause video recording, and continue from where you left off, whenever you want. Plus, overall improvements to the camera:

Improved camera image quality including better consistency of exposure, more realistic flash coloring, improved photos in low light conditions using front camera.Added the ability to pause video recording with a convenient pause/resume button on the viewfinder.Android 4.4.4, KitKat, is the latest release of the Android platform. This release includes accuracy improvements to the power profile, several stability, framework and security fixes including update to OpenSSL.Updated Phone dialer with a new graphical layout and colors to improve consistency and usability.

Plus, you’ll be on the most updated version of Android, and that should count for something.

Did you get the update?
